Just Replace New Hard Drive for my Xbox One

Need Help, I follow all the step from online and it was about to update offline and then it stop there and keeping going on the same menu screen. Did I missing something here please reply back

Well the xbox repair service should of replaced the hard drive for you, Rather than doing it yourself. But what menu screen is it appearing as that you are having problems with?.

Well it was about to prepare update screen and in a split second went back to “Something went wrong” and I press continue. It show restart, reset, turn off and xbox offline update option menu screen. I press “xbox offline update”(usb is connect to Xbox
one) start update but went back something went wrong

just formatted my hard drive and its still saying unformatted i think my hard drive is broken and needs replacing

if i buy a new hard drive or Xbox do i need a data transfer cable to transfer from hard drive to hard drive?

but at the moment there is nothing on my Xbox hard drive to transfer
