    Just recently my xbox is not shutting down properly


    Just recently my xbox is not shutting down properly when I turn it off from the controller. The light just blinks and stays blinking for ages until I have to push and hold the power button on the Console.

    Sorry to hear that you're having trouble turning off your Xbox One. Have you gone through the troubleshooting article that outlines on
    how to turn on/off your Xbox One? There's some steps under
    Troubleshooting on the page that can help you out if you haven't already done them.

    External hard drive reboots when Xbox One is turned off

    Unbelievably annoying. My Xbox is on Energy saving mode, and this still happens with all of my external drives. Reboots every shut down, and I don't want to just disconnect the drive without it powering down properly.

    I have just had this happen tonight on my PC. On first launch it said the game hadn't shut down properly last time, but it was shut down properly and only last night. When i logged on, it was as if I had never played the game, I was back to level one, all my unlocks etc gone.

    Let's try setting your system back to Factory Defaults. You can perform this step without removing games and apps,
