Just realized today that I have under appreciated the Xbox One & Xbox live.

The reason for that is that I was impressed by the PS4 when I got it back in February so I can play the exclusives & MLB the Show. However, instead of doing what I planned to do (all non-exclusive games go on the xbox one and only the PS exclusives on
the PSN), I started to buy games I should've got for the Xbox One, I got for the PS4. However, on Sunday (DDOS attack), reality crashed back down and I realized that PSN was still terrible and not secure. More important though, I was able to play any games
on the PS4 for some weird reason. That wasn't a big deal but it made me think that PS+ plus is a bad deal because they aren't improving their network backend. Now, I came to appreciate Microsoft & Xbox more and, after playing Madden 15 today, the Xbox One
is much more enjoyable to play. I cost me a bit since I grab Diablo 3 & Madden 15 again, but for the xbox one this time. But that is my penalty for going back against my word. If I every criticized anyone for buying the Xbox One in the past few months, I apologize.
But I do have one piece of advice, You pay for Xbox live to have microsoft improve the service, not give out free games. I been to the PSN dark side and it doesn't compare to what Xbox live has. Free games are good, a strong, dependable online experience is
much better. And on, I do not regret buying Madden 15 & Diablo 3 again, this time on Xbox live.

Xbox live

I have come to realize that I am not exactly that attuned to today's society. In my day and time I was the norm but in today society I am the odd man out.

I passionately hate the fact that I have to log on just to play my game's or go through extra steps to not log on. Is there anyway I can get rid of the Xbox live? I can't think of one good thing to say good about Xbox live or think of one good reason to have it automatically there – that should be a decision of choice.

I don't do the online gameplay, or the online chat but I will admit that I have updated through it but that is one time.

If someone can come up with a way to get around that thing I certainly would appreciate it.

Using microsoft points toward Xbox Live renewal

Today I realized I have 20 something dollars available under my microsoft account and was hoping to use this towards buying a new year of XBOX Live. I however, accidentally confirmed my purchase of another year without using my points. I was wondering if
there is any way to still use these towards a deduction for the live that I just purchased, or do I now just have to wait and use them another time?

 

Ddos has nothing to do with security it happens and can happen to Xbox live as well but good luck.

 

I know, but with the previous security issues with Sony, it made me open my eyes again on how xbox live is much better.

 

Fair enough that's your opinion and I'm not going to debate it because I'm sure this thread will get deleted anyway but just so you know I played offline all day Sunday with no issues I asssume you went digital download and it was a license issue you had.

Yea I went digital only. only thing I could got on sunday on the PS4 was the animated wallpaper, no menu or anything.

 

Xbox live was Ddosed the other day it just recovered quick.

 

Ya major wreckus it was a licensing issue There has been plenty of threads here with Xbox users having the same problems when Live is down. I don't want to go anymore into it because people will start crying about this being a comparison thread and it will
be gone I'll leave it alone enjoy Xbox live.

Yeah looked it up. Nudda, besides a Few sign in issues and services interruptions, which happens quite regularly over the year but lasts only 5 minutes to 1 hour on most occasions. What your talking about was Sony and the Media trying to " but but it has
happened to microsoft too!" To lessen the bad press surrounding their poor network setup.

Please don't spread misinformation. Live was fine and working for the majority of users when this supposed attack happened, Sony's network went into meltdown and they even cancelled the scheduled maintenance which is a 7 hour period.7 hours! Who would put
up with that and pay for it? Not me.

 

Sometimes I underappreciate Xbox too with all the feedback and how Xbox 1 is still missing Xbox Live features from last gen like voice messaging and change Dash background and services seem to go down more frequently this year than any other year I've been
with Xbox.

PSN doesn't show a padlock on the registration page, where as on this site when you sign in, the address bar is ***highlighted green with a padlock*** on IE11. M does a great job of providing a secure and fun Xbox environment. Although not always 100%, it's
something I'll want to use. I like Halo and Forza and Zoo Tycoon. Xbox 360 is awesome.
