Just joined the Xbox One Family Thank You Phil Spencer

I got to the first boss in Dead Rising 3 and got spanked over and over again. I just can't get my character to move fast enough to hit and avoid being hit in return.

Was tempted to just keep replaying up to that point in order to level up but I loathe grind gameplay.

 

The first boss. The biker on his steam roller combo motorcycle.

Just can't make myself move any quicker. I try a couple of times a month but end up getting annoyed, so I stop.

 

Yeah just roll to the side as he comes at you, then turn and use molotovs on him room something similar.

 

For some reason when I wrote "or" my phone corrected it to "room" :|

 

For that boss, I moved to where support pillers were and waited for him to charge and dodged out of the way, he'd get caught up on it long enough for me to get a few hits on him.

Dead Rising was really fun, and much better with a friend.

 

Yeah, for a launch title it was brilliant.

 

Forgive this but....oh just roll to the side , I hadn't tried that.

Somehow me saying I can't move quick enough to dodge him, elicits the advice to dodge him.

If I was able to do that then I wouldn't have posted about this in the first place.

Now I confess to having the reactions of a sloth, so the advice of don't have poor reactions isn't helpful.

 

There is a bus,i jump on the roof and use molotov. (there are some extra molotov near the bus,just in case).

 

Well I have setup my Xbox One, think its going to take a bit of time to get used to the new setup. One thing I have noticed is Killer Instinct is not in my Purchase History or Queue. I redeemed the free code last year online at Xbox.com, it accepted it
back then, but now it has vanished.

Assassins Creed Unity is installing so far its at 16%, only took about 8 mins to get to that percentage. I have read online that some users have been waiting all day for a game to install.

 

I been having issues today with my downloaded games my external hdd died ive manage to download over 250gig since 9am today

 

If its slow to install games you just have to install offline or choose the "update later" option when you install. The X1 will download any updates as it installs your game, so it can take a while if the update is a large one.

 

At some point get a external hard drive. It's nice because you will not have to d/l again IF something goes wrong with the One.

 

I have loads of external HDDs

2 x 3TB, 1 x 2TB, 1 x 1TB, 1 x 500GB.

 

Whats people opinion on these game install times.

Assassins Creed Unity Digital Download took 1hr 23mins to install to 100%. Since Unity is a Digital Download will that included the latest patch or will that prompt to install once I run the Game.

Assassins Creed 4 Digital Download took 48mins to install to 100%.

So I take it these games install while downloading at the same time. I thought I would be download the files then it would extract them to install, similar to demos on the PS3.

Dead Rising 3 Blu-Ray Disc install took 26mins to install.

 

How fast is your Internet? I think they are ok times because that is including the download of updates. Yeah, installing the game is also downloading it when it's digital, there is no extra installing to be done.
