Just grabbed the Xbox One, need advice!

What are some good settings to use? There are so many choices with this thing I need opinions. Heard people having games quit mid-game for updates, how do I prevent that for example?

Also how do I completely stop a game from playing, so it's not on in the background? Also want to know how to exit the menu thing that has popped up on the right?

Just grabbed this for $20...

im actually liking it alot...love the gunplay and engenerring elements.

I found it very dull, stopped after a few hours of fetch quests. Hope you like it though.

Ok, let's see if I can help out here.

1. Updates - Go to Settings and set your console to Instant On (use with Kinect) if you have the Kinect sensor. The console will automatically update when they come in for you.

2. To completely stop a game from playing in the background exit to the Home screen and press the Start button on the console then choose Quit.

3. If you want to get rid of the snapped item there are two options for you:

a) If you have a Kinect Sensor say Xbox..Unsnap

b) If you do not have a Kinect Sensor double tap the Guide button (two fast taps). From there you should have access to the items in the snapped menu (move using the direction pad to test). You can then press B to unsnap the item.

Zfair it seems not many games do grab your attention so i wouldn't take advice from you anyway, just saying like.

Although I disagree with you at some points in the review I'm not going to bash your opinion down. I do agree though that the storyline wasn't all that great, but after awhile stopped noticing the pop ins of the textures. However I do like how you presented
your review as a personal opinion and not trying to sound like fact. Many reviewers try to come off as more intelligent than their readers, but its nice to see reviews like yours.
