Question: Then why not have 2 (Two) discs? In this way one could install everything that was necessary in order to enjoy the game 'day one' all w/o having to clog up the net/servers for extended periods (hours) of time.

yh i was wrong it was 15GB and reason for not having 2 discs was because 343 wanted it all on 1 disc

I've only played HALO 1 and 4 so far...

Really surprised how much better HALO 1 looks now...

Hope they give more original XBOX classics a faceover / rerelease...

Examples: Brute Force, Crimson Skies, Outrun, Ninja Gaiden, Grand Theft Auto, Final Fantasy 7, Panzer Dragoon, Resident Evil, Jet Set Radio etc...

My first impressions when I jumped on my girlfriend's console was "boy this feels like a tablet." I kind of knew it would from how the 360 had went but I'd never used the Kinect with that.

The square layout, to the voice control, to the somewhat baffling steps you have to take to get to some settings, well it did really give me a tablet impression.

However I was impressed by how the games looked on the One. It's a really good gaming system, and hopefully in time the rest of the functions will catch up with that.

(Vaynel)...My HALO edition doesn't have Kinect...so I'm not sure which way is better to navigate the menus.

Note: I had Kinect for XBOX 360...but have no plans on getting it for XBOX ONE. Just not into jumping around and waving my hands to play games anymore.

its worth it just for voice control, you can pick up a second hand one from places like cex for £35 with a years warranty.

I thought the update was about 15GB and the 4 Halo games cam up to about 40GB...............could be wrong though.

but either way, as has been mentioned the day one "update" was actually all of the multiplayer parts of the games. What was on the disc was purely the single player, could they have spanned it too two discs? probably.

What's the maximum size a Blu-ray disc can hold? They couldn't fit an extra 15GB onto a BLU-RAY disc (which can hold much more data than DVDs). I thought it was because they rushed the game that's why multiplayer was broken even 2 weeks after launch ask
others on here too, and certain achievements weren't unlocking as well. It's why even 3 weeks after launch me and most of my friends (who have an Xbox 1) were only playing the campaign. The game is awesome don't get me wrong, but it did get off to a kind of
a bumpy start.
