Xbox Live Rewards - Glitch?

I signed up for Xbox Live Rewards a long time ago. About a few weeks. I signed in today and got a message asking me whether I would like to leave the programme or stay in it, I just clicked a link on the page and clicked "my Stats", it told me to sign up
for Xbox Live Gold when I'm already an Xbox Live Gold Member. So I signed out and logged back in, it told me that I was confirmed and they're going to finish setting up my account in 36 hours?

Depending on which way you bought/redeemed Xbox Live it can take some minutes. Did your profile was offline or already connected to Xbox Live before but you just didnt owned Gold before?

OP you are showing Gold here. Like Mr Three Chains said it sometimes take a little while for things to sync up. If you are still having problem try removing your profile from the console and then reload it. Let us know. Good Luck!

Had this problem yesterday. Just hard reset your Xbox and the issue will correct itself.

To hard reset your Xbox just hold your finger on the lit up X on the console for about 5 seconds or until it shuts down.

Im not sure how long the deal will be on there but i do know for sure you have to be looking at the dashboard home screen while on a profile that is a silver account....not gold. I just got it yesterday on one of my accounts but didnt show up as i was signed
in to my gold one.

Having the same issue here. Connection test comes up good but cannot sign into xbox live with account. I created a second account and got a free 1 month trial of gold and that account signs in to live just fine.
