Just got this message from Xbox live

I think there is not porblem, just check if you have update your billing method, if you haven't just wait for the game

Thank you for reaching out to us on the Forums. In regards to pre orders, If you place the order months before the release or even weeks before, you are not automatically billed. It sets the game aside for you and won't bill you till around 10 days prior
to the game release.

This is done just in case you have changed your mind somewhere along the wait and don't want the game after all. This way you can simply cancel the pre order without having to wait for a refund.

Please check your
Order History and check for the exact date the pre order was placed. You can then check back on your billing statement and confirm if this was billed or not. If you do see a payment made go ahead and
Contact Xbox Support so they may assist you with this.

It's so easy to make sure about it. If you got a message which is in the "Messages from Xbox Live" category, you got a message from Microsoft. No one can send you messages like this just MS. You can find a link or a button that you can click on which says
"Redeem the code".

But if the message came from an Xbox Live user, yes that could be a scammer.

The last time i got something from mixer i just got an xbox live message after a few days with a code to redeem what i got

I only just got mine a couple of days ago. It was a message in my inbox from Xbox with a code for 1 month of LIVE.
