Just got the $75 Xbox Promotional code ad on my Xbox 360

I've had Xbox Live Gold for 9 years (uninterrupted) and I've bought a fair amount of online content. But,I did not get the ad/offer. So, where did I fail Microsoft? I just learned about this offer through the internet. I plan on contacting MS on my next
day off.

 

BTW, for those who have got this: Was it an ad on the dashboard? Or, was it in a message in your Messages Inbox?

 

I recieved it as an ad on my dashboard. The ad only showed up once and when I clicked it, it had my gamertag in the ad. I never recieved an email or anything else since.

 

It was an ad on the dashboard. I got it earlier like everyone else and it went away within two days. I've been on the fence waiting to see if other get the code. Either way I'll get the Xbox One as its where the family & friends are.. just would be nice
to get a free game out of the purchase.

 

I'm pretty sure the deal will be over before anyone receives their code. I already went ahead and bought it. Definitely don't regret it, I've been enjoying Titanfall and the Destiny beta.

 

I wish there was somewhere I could see my status on this. If I am, or am not eligible. If I am, I'd be motivated to get one before the offer ends, with a credit card. If I'm not going to get the $75 Xbox Live money, then I'll wait a little longer, till
I really have the cash to spare. (If I'll even get one, after this. As it would feel like a burn on me, if I'm not eligible.)

Yep, I got one last night. And I was playing online with a friend who also bought a Bone in July, and he got it as well. Money for Destiny!

 

no message on 360. haven't checked xb1 or email yet. another thread said xbone had to be registered through a website. I thought bringing my gamertag over registered it automatically. someone also said the xb1 needs to be set as the home console. I did
not know this. nor did I do either of these.

Am I SOL now, even if I was eligible? Could I still get them to reward me, since other people are missing theirs?

 

Sorry but setting the console as the Home console and registering it were explicit conditions of the offer.

Mine was a home console. Not sure about "registering", but I did connect it through Live it that's what you mean. Didn't have to do anything on a website.

 

So mine is my home console, I bought between the dates it needed to be purchased to qualify, I've set it up and turned it on and it made my home console the day I got it, but never got offered the deal. So weird, but my buddy who got his the same day got
the promotion.

 

If anyone gets it on a later date than the people who already got it, could you please post it here? The deal seems like they made it low key to reduce how many people they would have to actually give the reward to. Even among those they deemed eligible.
Which sucks. cuz, I've paid the price of the console in Live Gold subscription. I don't even know if I was ever eligible. So, why am I concerned? Cuz I like free money. If they start putting some good Games with Gold on Xbox One, it would be as good
as getting $75 to manually spend on a good game. (Like Watch Dogs, or Strider would be an awesome free game.) So far it seems they're just trying to increase the number of times a given game is downloaded to justify it's existence. The four games I got
free so far I wouldn't recommend to anyone. On 360 this month, there is retail game that I already bought on disc. Just like every retail game for free so far.

 

When did you receive this ad?

 

The add was posted june/july on the xbox 360 dashboard, for me personally it only showed up once.
