Just got MC for XB1 - Need Help

I had endless problems with PSN on PS3, so I got an XB1 and Minecraft for my daughter. I have no clue about Minecraft.

She is telling me that MC on PS3 is different and I keep telling her it's the same game.

Am I wrong?

She is trying to make a End portal

Do you need to be in a specific world or have a specific pack?

Details appreciated.

From what I understand, an end portal exists in every single world you create. The trick is, to actually find the d@mn thing.

As for differences between the PS3/Xbox 360 version and the Xbox One version... the main thing is the draw distance. (The distance with which you can see out amongst the world. It is very limited on the 360/PS3, but with the new consoles, it is much improved.)
Also, the size of the worlds are (something) like 32 times bigger in size.

I thought I got more achievements in Minecraft X1 than Halo MCC, I need to fix that. I've about 40% completed MC X1 edition and 1% (8 achievements) for Halo MCC. 100% completed MC X360 edition (mc = minecraft).
