Just got GTA V and installed it, but when i open the game, it takes me back to the menu screen.

I was downloading GTA V and when it fully downloaded, i tested it to find out it wouldn't start up. I'm very upset at this because i just got the game and i already reinstalled it and still didn't work. Please i need help to find out whats going on about
my problem and how to fix it.

GTA v keeps freezing then the console restarts

when I play gta v my game freezes and closes when I try to open it it says "sorry we had trouble installing this" but it's already installed then the console turns of and loads back up with the green Xbox one screen

Video Card Not Working!

I just bought an Xbox One over the weekend and it gave me problems already. Since I got it I have tried to play downloaded games but it is not letting me. It opens the game screen, turns black and then it goes to the Xbox home screen again. I thought this
was a problem with downloaded games so I tried it with a Disc. The game installed and ran successfully until the menu screen, but when I got in the game, the screen just started to act crazy. The graphics are all broken and I can't see anything in the game.

I need some help about this. Any advice?

Sorry to hear it. Please try power cycling the console by holding the power button on it for 10 seconds until it shuts down to see if that helps.

It's the digital version of GTA V that isnt working for me. I click on it, starts up for 2 seconds and just takes me back to the home screen with no error messages or anything.

Hellfire IRL

For a variety of reasons GTA V is the best game ever made IMHO. I only played through it once, and got to lvl 100 online, with the expectation it would be ported. I've also not touched my 360 once since X1 release. So yes this is a day one must have purchase
for me, Watch_Dogs is my favourite open-world game at the moment, I expect GTA V ported to take that crown back. Pretty happy with the 'variety' of games I have now, from here on out it's all icing on the cake for me.

Yes I can but it takes me back to the upgrade machine install screen. When i press xbox button the continue,load menu is displayed and it works but still cant proceed unless i load, quit or main menu the game. The cursor works and pressing x there is a sound and install lights up but nothing happens. Everything was working great until I got to the upgrade machine. I tried cutting xbox off and back on and that didn't work either. Thanks

Ok. Reformatted the hard drive, and it's still quick to log in. I originally only had GTA V installed on the 120 GB hard drive, so instead of installing that, I installed both discs of Mass Effect 2 (which takes up more space than GTA V), and I had no
issues with logging in. I'm now reinstalling GTA V to see if the issue comes back. If GTA V is the culprit, I'll switch to their help forums.
