Just got a Xbox 360!

I'd suggest getting a Kinect if you're liking your 360 experience. It's very party/family oriented but it's a lot of fun. A lot of serious, or 'pro' gamers seem to hate it for some odd reason but it's definitely worth it. Kinect Sports, Kinect Adventures
and Wreckateer (an Arcade game) are good fun.

It's good you didn't get a PS3. Why? The Xbox 360 has more social stuff such as the Xbox LIVE party chat and other features. Put it like this, BOTH systems have their ups & downs.

You already have Xbox Live (The free version). This was made when you created a Microsoft Account. You can change your Gamertag to anything of your choosing once for free, it is currently 'AskingCape79'. You can purchase an Xbox Live Gold Membership to enable

We just bought a xbox 360 the white one and we bought usb memory cards and now not sure where to put the controllers. does anyone have a picture to show us how to do this...?

the controllers are wireless you do not need to plug them into anything unless you have the play and charge cable with battery pack that replaces the back that holds 2 AA batteries.

You can still play Halo 2 on the 360 though as it is backwards compatible. After Halo 3 they kind of moved away from the hero (Master Chief). Halo 4 brings him back into the story line.

Ive got some mates from the Steam that I used to game with. That really sucks though if people boot you for no reason.

Cheers for the info. Going to check out Halo but not sure where to start. So any recommendations there would be great. I played the COD on the PS2 and found it boring but not played any of the newer titles so again any recommendations there will also be
cool.
