Just got a one today

Just got a one today, kinda like it but kinda dont i have both consoles and im use to being able to play offline while game downloads update but one does not do this, So i ahve only played 10 mins of plant vs zombies and as far as i know my three games and
four apps are still downloading not sure how far they are tough, i did not know the one was a patents needed system, not looking forward to the destiny download.

Just got an Xbox One today

Ac4 is brilliant as is Dead rising 3. I did didn't like the other dead rising games but 3 was so much fun. Loved the ryse campaign but didn't go near it again after I completed it. Bf4 is a great online game with with friends.

@Rippen that's the only title I can make argument about that actually looks far worse on the x1 vs the other platforms having played both. Basically it's the lack of AA that really sticks out to me on the troops, guns, buildings - jacked up contrast... I
don't know something just doesn't sit well with me visually.

I could even bash on AC a little, but I had so much fun with the game on xbox that it didn't matter in the end. With all the bugs and crashes to xbox home it gave me more time to analyze and compare lol.

But I mean everyone's entitled to their opinion and it would appear a lot of people recommend Battlefield so it must not be that bad right? Hell I bought Marvel for PS4 and still ended up trading it in within 3 days (though I don't really care much for lego
games) - Oh and I traded in Kill Zone along with it a horrible FPS and I could care less about all the photo-realistic/shadow what-ever sony fan-bois brag about in that game. Bottom line TitanFall is the FPS of this year.

And not sure what you mean by a parents needed system, you mean the parental controls?

 

I patents, time, I put the plants xombie game in it loads , till 70 percent forza also 70 percent, i play a bit of plants dont quite under stand the game but ok , so i play that a bit get tired decide to see how forza is its their at 76 percent i go play
plants come back forza goes down to 0 percent, then plants go down to 0 percent. Cant play nothing. so i wait and start the download of disk plants, and i tuned it the system to standby. Then left, have not been home to see hows it going. i cant play the game
while its downloading. I did not know you can do it off line but i hear it also does the same. Do you need a fast internet speed for xbox one?

 

On what console could you play offline while the game downloads update? You would have to be online for the update to download in the first place.

 

what you mean fooling, yes im a sony fan, but i like xbox games as well, i want to like this system, but its seems like i need a fast internet, will it get better is this just a fluck.

Hey mate, if you didn't realise gaming these days has much more patience involved (in regards to downloads, updates and not to mention patience in generally when playing) then more practice you need.

Really it is, what it is and you accept it or come to the forums and complain. I kind of do miss the days of just throwing the cartridge in and away you went, but at the same time I really love what gaming is these days too!

 

A fast internet is not needed but helps, if I'm following correctly, the problem is that when you install from the disc, the Xbox will first download any patches needed before installing the game, if you have a slow internet connection it is best to install
the disc offline, then go online and it'll download the updates.

 

If he is trying to download multiple games at once then there is his problem right there.

 

I downloaded the Metro bundle.... took about 45mins....

 

I've never had an issue playing online or offline while my games downloaded, and I have a pretty slow connection.

 

Had a 4+GB Sniper update last night, took about twenty minutes and I could play after about ten minutes. The only windup being it seems the update was DLC? If I want DLC i will buy it and download it myself thanks!!!!!!!
