Just gifted a game to a friend with live, bank says everything's gone through but it won't...

same.... 1/4 of xbox live bar goes through then says internet can't connect try resetting router blah blah blah. Internet in entire house is up. everything was fine about an hour ago and now xbox live is gone. Although some of my friends are playing online
with no problems. Maybe we are the hated ones? My guess is it's just another Xbox fail and now the people that are getting screwed will just have to wait.

If they gifted you the Xbox version of the game, you won't be able to install it and your friend would need to request a refund.

If they gifted you the PC version, you can redeem the code at http://redeem.microsoft.com and install it through the Microsoft Store app.

Thank you for posting on the Xbox Communities Forum. In order to gift a game or receive a game as a gift, both players must be from the same region, otherwise the gifted code will not work on the recipient's account.

In this case, it sadly will not be possible to be gifted Minecraft directly through the Microsoft Store. But your friend could send you the money for the game via bank transfer or by purchasing an Indian Xbox/Microsoft Gift Card for you.

I've gone through and updated everything twice at this point. Also when my friend tried to sign into my account via the email on his console, it prompted with making a whole new account. I just wanna play games bro
