Just getting your game ready error

Everytime I try to start a game, the "Just getting your game ready" message pops up. The game never starts, and the message keeps poping up after I close the first one. I have tried with several games (Halo 5, Wildlands, Castle Crashers Remastered) None
have worked, even games I have the disc for. The problem started when I got home late at night from a trip. That was on Sunday. I have tried several things, such as hard resets and nothing works. Please help.

Hi, We keep getting the message "Just getting your game ready" and the issue seems to affect other games as well. Does anyone have any experience of this and know how to fix it please?

Hey there sir crushalot!

What games, specifically, is this happening with? Are they disc based games or digital titles? Try

power cycling your console first to see if that helps resolve the issue at all. If that doesn't help, try unplugging your console and your home network and let it all rest for 5 minutes or so. Plug it all back in and see if that helps at all. If neither
of those two options work, you'll want to move on to a
factory reset of your console (while keeping your games and apps).

Work through those steps and then come back and let us know if you're still having issues.

Sorry to hear about the issue you're having with games not launching. Let's have you try to perform a full

Factory Reset, but make sure to keep your Games & apps. This will refresh the console fully, but you won't need to reinstall any games or apps. You will need to re-sign into any profiles you had on the console again though.
