    Just getting ready


    I have an issue with my Xbox one, it is updating every couple of days now and after each update none of the games or apps work unless I uninstall and reinstall each one. Every time I try to start an app or game it says just getting your ---- ready and stays
    there until I uninstall the item. When I press cancel it will continually pop up with the same dialog. Once the item is reinstalled it works fine until the console is updated again and then I have to go through this all again. I have almost 1 TB of content
    and it would be very difficult to reinstall everything every time it updates. How can I solve this issue?

    We use the same Xbox, I just tried it and we're still having the same issue.

    Yes, we found out that uninstalling or updating a game fixes the issue, but half of our games still do it.

    Im having the same proble but didn't try redownloading the game. It started after the system update today. This needs to be fixed asp.

    have you tried to go to the storage and uninstall it there and try again and restart your console? That might work.

    To check, do you have your games installed to your internal storage or do you have an external drive you're using? If you're installing to an external drive, try uninstalling and install internally to see if there's a change. Let us know what's up so that we

    If you haven't tried already, please uninstall one of the games you're unable to start, power cycle your Xbox One, then reinstall the game. Let us know if that helps :)
    Started doing this today on Destiny, Call of Duty, Halo Wars 2 and I've tried uninstalling, restarting and re-installing with Black Ops 3 and still no go!!! VERY annoying!!!
