Just Dance games won't start

Discus and support Just Dance games won't start in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; Hi All! My problem is that the "Just Dance" game series do not run on my xbox one (+kinect).     Just Dance games won't start


    Hi All!

    My problem is that the "Just Dance" game series do not run on my xbox one (+kinect). All other games (Dance Central, F1, Forza, ...) and apps run well. A few weeks ago they worked well. I do not use any mobile apps just kinect for controlling.

    I have 3 installed titles: 2015 is from disc, the 2016 demo and 2017 demo are downloaded.

    All behave the same way: Starting one of them, appears the game title for 5 seconds then disappears and the sceen is just pure black for a minute. After that the XBOX game menu came back where previously I've started the game from. During the black screen period
    the xbox does not react to any button press.

    I have tried to remove and reinstall the games, checked network connection, kinect, but no success, the phenomenon remains...

    Any idee?

    Can not play Just Dance because the sensor won't pick up any movements!!!!

    Are there any good kinect dancing/band games?

    OP asks about band and dance games, so people talk about D4? WAT?

    Both Just Dance 2014 and the new Dance Central are good Kinect dance games.

    It's not even close to "Just Euro Pop", plenty of genres of music to be had.

    I would recommend Dance Central over Just Dance, the routines are easier at first and do a better job at getting you good at the game, whereas Just Dance can start you off with really hard routines right from the start with some songs.

    Either way both games are great for social gatherings, kids, and when the wives get drunk... which is personally my favorite use of the game.

    I had exact same problem with Just Dance 2017, and I wanted to try this game, so a stupid move was buying Just Dance 2015. I have 2 non-working games with black screen issues. Customer support of ubisoft only offers things that won't work.

    How is the Kinect 2 ????

    Overall good, but of course does not come with minor issues. Sometimes won't read your commands or the hand pops up randomly on the screen. It is a great start though very handy. Have not played any dance games.

    So for example, if I buy a blu-ray version of "Just Dance 2020", then I will be able to use Just Dance® Unlimited? Or I need to buy a digital version of the game?

    If you want the best hands free experience, Xbox One and Kinect are the way to go. If you have an Xbox One S or X you'll also need an adapter to make it compatible with the Kinect. That's the only camera
    that will work for Just Dance on the Xbox. Otherwise you can use your smartphone by downloading the Just Dance app.
