    I just created this account. I'm trying to get 1 month free trial of gold but every time I join or go to my subscription, It says pay 9.99$

    I'm not sure if I only get free trial through the console.

    Can someone please help?

    My new account is not eligible for 1 month gold trial?

    Apparently either MS has secretly ended their 1 month gold trial plan or there's a glitch in the system. I have 3 new accounts that has never had gold I just made through the web browser but neither of them gave me the option to try gold for free.

    I logged in with one of them on 360 and It still isn't free.

    The select tab shows only 1, 3, and 12 month plan which none are free for a trial. Even went to my subscription section through Microsoft website to join gold there and still isn't a free trial.

    I even asked a customer rep at Microsoft and he was giving me buncha baloney like how "you can buy it, you won't be charged" and as I explained furthermore, he started switching his statements and later on went to say "even though the account is new it's not eligible."

    Anyone have any reasons why or can help me out?

    New Console purchase come with free trial of live gold?

    Each new console purchase comes with three, one month XBOX Live trial accounts. Once those three, one month trials have been used you will need to pay a fee for all future memberships of XBOX Live Gold.

    In order to initiate the trial you would need to make the new account from the XBOX console itself and not on XBOX.com. Once you've done that and created a free profile it will ask you if you'd like to join XBOX Live, just simply say no and it will give you
    a free trial of XBOX Live for 1 month.

    My Xbox Live GOLD Membership isn't working!

    The 1 month trial gold that comes with the console doesn't gives you access to all features. For example you can't join multiplayer games with the 1 month trial gold.

    The trick to it is when you join xbox live and it asks you to go gold, you need to say no. It'll then give you a 1 month free trial. This only works for accounts created on the console.

    Each new xbox comes with 3 x 1 month free trials of the gold service. The only way to access this is to create a brand new account on the console. When the option to join live shows up you would choose NO. Then the free trial offer would appear.

    A new xbox console comes with 3 x 1 month gold trial memberships built into it. In order to access these trials, you must create a brand new gamertag on the console. When it asks you to join live say no and it will offer you a trial. These cannot be stacked
    nor can they be added to existing accounts.
