Just Cause 4 Deluxe Digital Download access problems

So it's an in game progression thing. On my home xbox, my son was playing and had progressed to a certain point in the game so the bonus content showed up on that menu. I progressed in the game on the guest xbox then those items showed up on the game menu.
I would have thought that, if you purchased bonus content but you had to progress to access it they should still show it on the game menu but maybe have a lock icon showing that you owned it buy haven't unlocked it yet? I was just assuming that there was some
glitch because, according to the xbox and my live gold account, i owned the content but according to the game i didn't (until i finished the first main mission after the tutorial).

If this has not been attempted our suggestion here would be to select the option of uninstall all when selecting the uninstall option. After uninstalling all content,
remove the profile and then
restart the console. Upon adding the account, attempt to install Just Cause 4 and its content.

Try this for us and let us know if this works, or if further assistance is needed.

Would these be items that have to be downloaded?

Have you attempted to check through the game if maybe content was downloaded with the updates and installation of the game rather than being separate?

And if so this is a separate download, have you attempted to check the in-game store for a download section in case it is not found within your downloads?

With the digital Deluxe version came additional content which was the black hand jet and the black hand wing suit. It is a separate installed item. The xbox showed it as installed but it does not show up in the game's menu. On my home xbox it shows it
as installed and does show up in the game's menu. I've tried uninstalling that content from the guest xbox and re installing it but that hasn't fixed the problem. The only thing I haven't tried is completely uninstalling the entire game and this additional
content and starting from scratch.
