Just Cause 3 and Star Wars Battlefront

Hi, as the title suggest i am having issues with 2 games in particular.

Just Cause 3 - I have installed this on my sons Xbox one, (strangely only took 30 - 60 minutes), when we try and load it, it gets as far as an email prompt to link to the Square Enix Account it then freezes and boots us back to the Home
Screen, the game works fine on my Xbox. I have approached the Square Enix Support desk but they have not had any reports of the issue before, i am still waiting for them to get back to me.

Star Wars Battlefront - I have installed this onto the same xbox and it starts to load and the goes back to the homescreen with the following message - For some reason Star Wars Battlefront has taken too long to start. (0x8027025a). Again
this works fine on my xbox.

my initial suspicion is the external hard drive used, but Fallout 4 works fine, and the HDD is the same model i use on mine. I have tried disconnecting the HDD, resetting the xbox, leaving it unplugged for 5 minutes and restarting.

Are all save games stored on the cloud? Is it worth reformatting the drive?

I am not sure what else to do, any other ideas?

Yes, as long as you were connected to live when you were playing the game(s) the saves will be stored in the cloud. Before formatting the drive try deleting and reinstalling one of the games to see if that eliminates the problem. Let us know how it goes.

Hi Genesis, thanks for replying, so I reinstalled Just Cause 3 direct to the internal HDD to see if that made a difference, it now stalls at the start screen. Square Enix suggested creating another profile but that didn't work either.

i have formatted the HDD, to try and see if that works, I will try that tonight.
