Just Cause 2

I've been playing Just Cause 2 for a few weeks no problem and about three days ago when I load the game it can't sync with the Xbox 360 cloud. I thought this problem would be one of those ones that pass as if they fix themselves and the problem still goes
on. What caused this and can I fix it and how do I fix it? Thanks.

Completely off topic but how's Killer is Dead Wolf? Not after a lowdown just want to know if it plays well. Saw some vids a while back and it looked to be jerky and the screen tear was horrendous, is it sorted in the final build? Cheers.

 

Let's go ahead and try these steps to clear the Xbox 360 storage cache and see if that helps.

Scroll left on the Home screen to open the guide.

Note Double-tapping the Xbox button will open the guide from any other screen on the console.

Select Settings.

Select All settings.

Select System and then select Storage.

Select Clear local Xbox 360 storage.

Select Yes and restart the console. This will not affect your cloud saved games or Xbox One games and profiles.

Let us know if you're still seeing the issue after the console restarts!

One problem I noticed it reset my game back to the way it was before the fault started where I have to do a number of things again.

 

I'm glad it worked for you. It appears your game save became corrupted hence why the clearing of local storage came back with a different save.

 

The same thing keeps on happening again and again where Just Cause 2 can't sync with the Cloud and I have to keep on going through those settings again. Why does this game always do this?

 

Also because of this happening again, now it wants me to download my Xbox 360 profile to my Xbox One and it gets a certain point in downloading and I get an error saying I can't do it at this time. Why do I need to download my profile when I never had to
before? Now I can't play any Xbox 360 games in my Xbox One now because of this typical annoying garbage that keeps on happening. I get issues with RDR as well where it keeps asking me at times if I own the game when my disc is in my Xbox One.

 

Something else. I never had to download my Xbox 360 profile when I first played an Xbox 360 game in my Xbox One. Why do I have to now. Also why does the downloading go well for a while and crash with an error near the end of the downloading? This Backward
Compatibility seems to be more trouble than it's worth when the games crash up and cause other problems. I might as well get my Xbox 360 back out if these problems continue.

 

It was bad enough my suggestion I was given before caused me to lose some game save and now it's blocked me from playing all Xbox 360 games where the suggestion made matters so much worse.

 

Then I went through the suggestion thing again about clearing local Xbox storage and this time it downloaded my game save and not my profile. Now things are working. I know I got it working but why did it skip the game save download and try downloading my
profile as the Xbox 360 version? Due to Xbox messing about it caused me agro and worry over losing all my game save files as well as being blocked somehow from playing Xbox 360 games in my Xbox One. Microsoft really need to sort themselves out.

Sounds like you might be having some networking trouble. First, can you clear your local Xbox 360 storage again, then power cycle your Xbox One by holding down the power button for 8-10 seconds. Once you power cycle your Xbox One, try downloading your profile
again to see if there's a change. Let us know how it goes
