Just brought an Xbox One with Kinect

I hope that it turns out to be worth the money.

My other half, she loves fitness games and I heard you can download for free a lot of fitness programmes through Xbox live.

I hope the Kinect isn't rubbish.

Iv just brought one from amazon I ain't sticking no crape on my TV or kinect

Personally I saw Kinect YAY for the voice commends and just that ease offered.

So many people have said they didn't like the Kinect forced on them but since have brought one and actually enjoy the voice commands :/

I would say get a One without the Kinect and buy a second hand Kinect for £30 off CEX unless you get a reduced One from a online retailer with Kinect for £320

If all u want kinect for is the fitness stuff then im sure it will be fit for purpose. Not having one tho I cannot comment. I would pick one up for around a tenner just for voice controls tho as the xbox UI is still very confusing to me.

 

I think it was £399.00 with Forza 5, mean the Kinect was only £60.00, if bought alone the Kinect it's £129.00.

No brainer really. I was going to get a ps4 but don't think the online is any good.

 

Yep the Kinect fitness app is excellent some really good workouts and a good selection of them. Its only free until January I think so make the most of them. But to be honest they are worth paying for anyway.

 

Only till Jan, wonder what the ps4 offers with online features?

Sold my Kinect yesterday for 50 quid, never used it or see myself doing so in the future...
