Just bought Xbox Elite Controller V2 - Bluetooth issues

I've had a similar problem with a regular xbox controller. I removed the brand new batteries that came with the controller and replaced with some I had from the store. Haven't had problems since.

Something else to keep in mind though is, xbox controllers run off the 2.4G band. If you have your gaming divice connected wireless to a 2.4G internet band, your xbox controller could be fighting with the signal causing intermediate issues.

If your controller model is 1708 and 1797 (elite v2),

you can use bluetooth connect the pc / mobile phone.

1537, 1697, 1698 (elite) is not support bluetooth.

Thank you for posting here on the Xbox forums. I understand you are having issues with the elite controller V2 staying connected via Bluetooth and hard-wire. Do you have other controllers you can test out on your Pc to see if the issue is specific to the
elite controller? If you don't have another controller, would you be able to test out the elite on a different Pc?

Make sure you are using a V2 controller.

The first generation of Xbox One controllers (including the Elite) don't have bluetooth and need an additional wireless receiver to work with Windows 10.
