Just bought xbox controller not working

So I just bought a Xbox one, I take it home...come to find out the controllers messed up..spent almost 390 bucks mind you. Now I have to ship my controller back and wait 3 weeks or go get a new one and pay 50 bucks WTF man........

Brand new creeper controller RT & LT not working

I just bought the Xbox one minecraft limited edition console 1TB that came with one wireless creeper controller and of course minecraft the game . The RT & LT buttons are not working so I can’t play at all . I synched the controller , changed the batteries
, changed the sensitivity of the controller but nothing is working - pls help

Controller Home Button Not Working

Just came across this issue with the Xbox button not working. It was working fine just 2 hours ago I don't get it. I've tried restarting the console I've switched controllers and even went out and bought a new controller still nothing. WTF!!! Someone please
help!

Please explain the issue that you are having.

Did you update the controller/console?

If it is in fact a bad controller can you not return the console to the retailer as defective and have it all replaced?

Yes I updated it, The console seems to be working fine, though the left bumper on the controller is smashed in and doesn't *click* like the left. When in homescreen it will move to the left without touching the controller and when playing games take for
instance SW:BF it will make the guy not able to throw grenades. I bought from bestbuy ill try to call em..

It definitely sounds like it is defective. Best Buy is usually good about taking things back especially in the first 30 days. Good Luck.

So this happens on any controller paired to the Xbox, or just the one controller?

Ive tried 3 different controllers, none of them worked and 2 of those worked on my old xbox and the 3rd one i just bought the other day

The XBOX is new and the controller is new and the batteries is new and just installed in the controller, the plastic wrap has removed as well, ot looks like it comes dead.
