Just bought used Xbox 360 that has parental controls on.

hi I’ve just bought a used Xbox 360 from a shop. The previous owner however did not disable the parental controls so now I am stuck. I have called for help from Microsoft with little to no help. I have tried going into account.microsoft.com and going onto
devices...the device shows up but under the “more actions” tab, there isn’t any option to reset the password even though everyone is telling me there should be?? Can anyone help please?? What do I do now??

reset the parental control access code on Xbox 360?

A week ago I bought a used xbox, however it seems to me that it has parental control activated, I do not know the access code, is there a way that I can restore it?

Follow the steps on that page:

But, even if the registration does not appear, someone knows what to do in these cases, I would greatly appreciate it.

the xbox has parental control enabled, is the xbox 360 yours? because either you need to remove it or delete parental control:

The parental lock on the console can only be reset by inputting a secret button code somewhere in the settings menu.
The button code is unique to each console.

You will have to contact Xbox Support via phone or chat. Just tell them you bought a used console that still has the parental locks on it, provide the serial, and they should walk you through the process.
