Just bought Psychonauts on the XBOX 360. Can't launch it at all without an error.

Thank you for posting on Xbox Forums. In regards to the issue with playing Psychonauts on your Xbox 360, have you tried to Reinstall the latest 360 update for the console? If not, I would recommend trying to do so, and not by means of burning it to a
disc. Please view this support article for Xbox 360 Updates and go to Solution 7 to learn more about
Reinstalling the Latest Xbox 360 System Update.

Please reply back letting us know if this resolved the game issue or not. The update might have been corrupt the first time or the second time it was installed on the console and this should help clear it. Thank you again for posting on Xbox Forums.

Thank you for contacting Xbox forum for help with your question. First please, why would you need to burn the update to a disc rather than just updating straight to the console. After you installed it onto your Xbox 360 did it bring up a error message or
just went back to the home screen. You can try and reboot your system and see if that helps also start up a different game and then go back to Psychonauts, which will reset the game.

I tried following all of the steps on the link you sent me, but I still have the same problem as before.
