Just bought Metro (lesson learned.....)

@OP How long did it take to train him to do it, and what game do you plan on getting next time?

 

Are you sure you guys didnt practice before the wife got home? Maybe something about her saying NO MORE GAMES.. but if the kid did it by "accident" there was no way to reverse it

 

I just saw Metro Redux' . What a doozy!

 

My little guy know exactly what the X1 controller does. When I pick it up he rubber necks from the controller to the tv. He knows the white X means go time. The purchase was a complete fluke, entertaining....

 

Is this game released in the UK? Can't find it in the store and on smartglass it says unavailable.

 

You raise an interesting point… there should be a pin that you have to enter to confirm a purchase. Or at least the option. My 4 year old son bought every Peggle 2 add on the other day.

@Galactic Geek - Really? How do I turn that on? My son was playing Peggle2 at the time. Does it work in the store as well as in game?

Yeah I learned my lesson with my youngest he bought the lego movie game on my 360. . I no longer have a credit card on my account.

 

I wonder how much money MS has made with everyone's children "accidentally" buying games from them lol.

 

Pris0ner, I don't recall where specifically, but I know for a fact that it can be found under settings - under your profile privacy settings, I think.

 

Glass = reflection = better without., regardless whether it's gorilla glass, regardless of whether it says zero reflection.

 

LOL.... sounds like my sister's daughter.. except her daughter purchased over $90 in an in-game app. But she got the charges removed because she contacted them right away.

 

I take full responsibility for the purchase.... it's not the X1's fault....

 

As long as junior makes "purchases" that suits me.... it's all good!!!! I will never call support and request my money back for an online purchase that is made by mistake....
