    Just bought guitar hero live and it wont read the disc


    It keeps popping up with error code 0x80820002 i have returned the game and picked up a new one, ive shut down my xbox by holding the power button for 10 seconds and unplugging the power for 3 minutes and its not working. My console reads my other games
    and lets me play them but 2 copies of guitar hero live and nothing is coming up on it yet. Any ideas?

    2 week old xbox can't read disc

    I just bought a new XBox 360 4GB 2 weeks ago along with Guitar Hero World Tour (used, no scratches) and Guitar Hero 5 (new). My wife played GHWT for a couple days and then the game started freezing in career mode when loading a couple of songs, always
    at the exact same point. We opened GH5, the xbox says "can't read disc". Try GHWT again, still freezes at the same point. I tried all the troubleshooting steps for "can't read disc" errors, but nothing helped. Do I really have to be w/o a console for 2-3 weeks
    already? It seems early to be getting repair for it.

    hi,

    I have just bought the wirless microphone and it works perfect on Rock band 3 and Guitar hero Metallica however i can not get it to work on Guitar hero world tour.

    I would just like to know if it works on world tour and if so what am i doing wrong.

    You would need the guitar hero, live guitar, and I believe the game has been delisted due to expiring music licenses, so you would need to play on a disc based Xbox

    Rock Band is purchaseable digitally

    When insert the game disc "Call of Duty: Black Ops II" it takes to read and hear in the xbox a quick sound and then calmed down, after playing and moments later says that "you can not read the disc " and your error code 01-80-00 ?

    I had a similar issue with Guitar Hero 2 years ago. The disc was perfectly shiny and looked new but the Xbox 360 simply wouldn't read it. I'd suggest trying a different copy of the game, something may have happened to the data on the disc. Is the art on
    the top of the disc scratched?

    Why no vs or coop multiplayer?

    Guitar Hero Live is the new "multiplayer" format. there is co-op gameplay too, just not online.

    Hi, do you have any Rockband or Guitar hero drums/guitars etc or even the Guitar hero live usb dongle? That dongle has been known to cause similar issues when left connected to the Xbox.

    Yes, the downloadable tracks for the Guitar Hero, DJ Hero and Band Hero games, and the Guitar Hero mobile game were removed on March 31, so you sadly just missed out on getting them.
