just bought a year membership, for some reason can't download it to my account

I just bought a year of xboz gold, not rich pretty expensive. For some reason when ever I put in the code it doesn't download to my account says there is a issue and to try again later, I've tried multiple times over the past 24 hours, I really hope there
isn't a issue and I just wasted 60$. I put the code in right now doubt and the card wasn't scratched off till I got home after purchase. What should I do ? I would like to get back to my gaming experience

gold not working

i bought 12 months prepaid like i Always do when it runs out and i activated the code about 2 houres ago. on my xbox it says it expires next year but for some reason i can't acces anny xbox live gold membership activities such as searching for a group or
online play. even tho i can download my monthly free games. anybody know what to do?

Ight, for some reason I bought the dlc on my account and the game on my brothers account by accident 2 years ago and I just realized it. Sorry for that. It works fine, thanks for your help guys xd.

So we each have to have our own accounts? That's crazy! My kids shouldnt get to have their own accounts. I want to have control of them. And my younger one doesn't use it enough to make buying her an account worthwhile, but then she can't use it at all?
Very disappointing

. So since I just bought myself a new account with the intention of my son using it, can I transfer it to his username? So a family of 5 has to buy 5 separate memberships? I can't wrap my head around that. It makes no sense, and would
be many times more expensive than the gold family membership I bought just a year ago.

this is worthless. i want my gold membership back. the only reason i bought the gold membership was for the free games and now i have to travel to USA to be able to download the games. thats just amazing. thats how you make people never pay for that
