Just bought a xbox live code on xbox one and it says im not a gold member.

Just purchased a 3m Xbox live gold membership i entered it and it all went good. I booted up COD WW2 and it said i had to join xbox live and when i backed out it said "This profile is not allowed to play on xbox live" I booted up another game and the same
thing happened it said i had no Xbox live even though when i go to my subscriptions it does show i redeemed the code and it went through. This is all on Xbox one by the way

Just bought Xbox LIVE GOLD but still says i'm Xbox live SILVER..

So yeah I just bought the one year xbox live gold for my xbox, and it whenever i try to connect to a game in battlefield it says i can't because my xbox live account doesn't have permission. On my dashboard it says that I'm still a Xbox FREE member, but
on the website it says that I'm a gold member. Help please, I've been itching to play battlefield 3...

I bought Xbox Live Gold from the Xbox.com Website and it says im a Gold member on there, but on My Xbox 360, it says that Im Still an Xbox LIVE Free

Try removing the account from the console and then re adding it. That can usually fix this issue.

 

Will this delete any of my saved game history?

 

Just removed the account got the same "Join xbox live!" Message.

 

Bowski is correct in that those steps usually fix the issue. There have been a lot of posts here with people having the same issue.

Have you tried a hard reset yet?

Hard reset the Xbox by holding down the power button on the front of the Xbox for 15 seconds. After the 15 seconds let go of the power button then restart the Xbox.

From the Home screen, go to Store > Memberships > "Xbox Live Gold" Click on Get more info

Does it bring up the page showing Xbox Live Gold Expires [date]

Do you have more than one account on your Xbox? Could you have redeemed it onto another account?
