Just bought a xbox and for some reason I can't sign into my account.. my account image...

- are you able to log in with the account on the Microsoft web site or a different console ?

- did you buy a new or a used console ?

- have you tried to create a new a new account with a different email on the console ?

I'm able to log in to the xbox app no problem.

I bought a used series s (hardly used)

No I have not but I tried siging in a friend account but to no avail

I apologize for the inconvenienced this has caused you. I will do my best to help you.

Please perform a hard reboot into the Xbox by holding the power button until it turns off. Unplug all the cables connected to it. Leave it for 2 minutes. Plug all the cables back in and turn it on.

And then test your network connection by going to settings> network> network settings> test network connection. To be able to sign in smoothly, your connection should be "all good." If there will be issues, kindly restart your modem/router to refresh network connection.

Next is to check for System updates because an outdated system software can cause sign-in and synchronization issues. To do this, go to settings > System > Updates and install any available updates.

Then remove and re-add your profile. Kindly go to Settings > Account > Remove Accounts on your console. Once removed, add your profile again by signing back in. Please ensure that you have the correct sign-in credentials for it to work.

i have an account EmperorEmpoleon i made another account called GandPanzers for my girlfriend using the same email account any for some reason i can't sign into my microsoft account but i can still use that account on my xbox
