When i try to link my controller my console won't blink and link with the controller

Did you push the sync buttons on both the console and the controller?

A hard reset may solve this problem. Hold down the power button until the system shuts down and unplug the power cable. Wait for 5 min and plug it back in and restart the console

and work through the steps to see if it solves the issue at all.
