just bought a new 360 and the controller that came with it doesn't work right

I have to press hard to get the A and B buttons to work. I still have the receipt and I bought it from Walmart on the 7th and didn't even try the new controller until today the 9th since I have others. I'm just really *** about the idea of unplugging everything
from my entertainment center packing everything up the way it came and then driving to Walmart to exchange my xbox just to get a new controller.

One Xbox One S Controller syncs on wireless adaptor but another doesn't

Hello,

So I recently bought another controller for my PC so my friends and I can have two player games.

My Xbox One controller that came with my Wireless adaptor works flawlessly.

However, when I try to sync the newer controller I bought (which came without a wireless adaptor), it just doesn't do it. They are the exact same type of controller as far as I can work out, just the newer one is grey and green.

It is really frustrating. Can anybody assist?

Controller not working

Just bought a new xbox360 wired controller, and trying to use it on a preowned xbox360 that i recently bought on Ebay and functions completely fine. I have a wireless controller that came with the console that works fine but the new controller I bought won't
turn on when it's plugged in.

Call the store and see if they'll let you swap just the controllers from a different package. Some stores will let you do that, but there's no guarantee they will. It never hurts to ask though.

I'm sorry Defy Lightning I should have been more specific,I bought a new 360 E last year and went through two controllers,previously I had never gone through a 360 controller since the 360 came out so I don't know if it was the E controllers or just bad
luck.My XB1 controller is working fine which came with the system

Hi! So just to be clear: Is the controller brand new as stated in the beginning or did it came with the Xbox 360 you bought at a yard sale? If it's the latter I would first check if the controller isn't working properly as I never had this issue with my
gamepads that came with the Xbox 360.

Also, did you test this with different games?

What do you mean by "original wireless controllers with original rechargeable batteries"?

The wireless controllers I have are the ones that were first released many years ago. The rechargeable battery pack doesn't have space for 2x AA batteries.

I bought a new wireless controller and was surprised that it came with 2x AA batteries. I have not been able to get this new model of wireless controller to work with my XBOX 360 yet. I still need to do some troubleshooting.

I'm on my second controller , I thought my first one was done . the right stick was acting up Turing right kept stuttering, moving alot so when halo 5 came out I bought one of the halo 5 controls it worked fine now I seem to be having the same issue this
is ridicouls . this control is brand new with no drops.
