Just bought 12mo gold and then reset xbox to factory

I bought xbox live gold 12mo for my xbox 1 and then it said I had to reset to factory so I did then I tried to get my xbox live back and it said I didn't have any so I bassicly just wasted $60 some dollars on a 12 12mo membership that lasted
like 2 days

REMINDER I'M VERY UPSET AND THIS IS A COMPLAINT, SO FIX YOUR XBOX1'S PEOPLE

Any online/ multiplayer game will require Xbox Live Gold. You mentioned $10/mo being too much, but buying a 12mo subscription costs approximately $60 or $5/mo, at full price. And oftentimes, you can find deals where 12mo subscriptions are even cheaper.
However, if you are completely against getting a Gold subscription, then returning the game and getting a new one is probably best. Review the box before purchasing, and it should tell you everything you need to know.

PUBG doesn't recognize new GOLD memb

I just purchased a new Xbone tonight.Bought a 12mo Gold membership. Purchased a code for PUBG at GameStop.Setup membership, used PUBG code and downloaded it.Tried to access but doesn't recognize that I have a GOLD account.New Xbox please help me!!

You just need to redownload your profile, its not attached to the console, it is attached to your profile it was redeemed on. Remove the profile and redownload it, your subscription will show.

A factory reset should do the trick, since the previous owner seems to have forgotten to do that.

You don't mention which console you bought. But just google "factory reset Xbox One" (for example) and follow the instructions.

Xbox Live Gold 1yr is usually $60. GPU is $15 per month. 4 months of Ultimate is $60. You get the amount of time that you pay for. Why would they give you 12mo of Ultimate for only $60?
