Just became a Three-Console household

We just installed our third One this weekend and we've already seen a lot of issues trying to manage games and accounts, primarily because we've bought all our games digitally as opposed to physically.

I understand that one console is the "Home" console and any game I've bought (as the head family account) is accessible there all the time. That console is primarily used by someone other than me so that they don't have to ever log me in on that console
to play games. But now, on consoles two and three, I have to log in to start any game even if someone else wants to play it. And then if I want to play a game on the third console while someone else uses console 2, I end up logging myself out on console
2 which can disrupt their experience and prevent them from changing games without logging me out, disrupting my experience.

Any suggestions on how to successfully run a three-console house? Do we need to buy additional copies of the most frequently played games and/or do we need to migrate from a one-Xbox-live account family to multiple Xbox live accounts?

Just became a two console household.

You can only share content on the console that is set as your Home console and you can only have one console set as your Home console. In order for all accounts to have access to everything on both consoles (without you needing to be signed in), you would
have to purchase everything on at least 1 other account.

If your account signs in first on the console that is not your Home console, other accounts can use your content, but you can only be signed in on once console at a time.

Is it possible to have both Consoles have access to the games that I (primary account) have downloaded over the years.

Console A is set to my home Xbox while console B has nobody claiming it as the home Xbox.

I I have a total of 3 accts (me and two kids). I'm trying to understand how to make it so we can have access to everything on both. If this is at all possible without having to repurchase all desired games.

As you stated, the other accounts can only share your content while they are either using the Home console or while you're signed in. In order to be able to share the content on a third console, you would either need to purchase the content as a physical
disc, or you can purchase it on a second account and set the 3rd console as that accounts Home console.

 

So, just to be clear - I have purchased Destiny on my account. Anyone can play Destiny on my home Xbox whether or not I'm signed in.

If I buy a physical copy of Destiny, anyone can play Destiny on a second Xbox in my house whether or not I'm signed in?

And then, since I purchased it, I can play Destiny on a third Xbox in my house where I'm signed in at the same time as the other two xboxes? These seems right to me, but before I go out and spend $60, I'd like to confirm. The main point is whether or not
that second xbox ever requires that I sign in on my account if there's a physical disc in the drive.

 

That's all correct. Physical discs would not be attached to an account at all. So anyone can play it on any console.
