Just about done trying...

Here is a brief summary of what I have been through these last 3 days:

I switched my console region from Brazil to the USA, so that i could have Engllsh as my main language on my XBOX ONE. I currently live in Brazil, and have done so for about 4 years. I have never had a problem purchasing games online from the Live store.

After I switched my account to the USA region, i tried to purchase GTA V using an American Credit Card. The purchase went through but the game would not download, it would keep saying "Installation Stopped". After many failed attempts at getting it to start,
i contacted Support (Through Chat) and they asked me to:

Hard Restart

Clear the MAC

Try downloading offlline

switch from wired to wireless

remove my account and recover it again

reset my modem and router

The last thing that was suggested was a factory reset, and to swtich my region back to Brazil. I was reassured that i would be able to redownload all the games that i had, which were alot.

When i finished the factory reset, i was not able to download a single game that i had from my library. NOTHING that i download installs.

I have lost all of my games, and cannot access anything.

A supervisor from XBOX support told me it was because i had changed the region on my console back and forth, and that i now have to wait 90 days to be able to download content again. I do not know what to do. There was no warning that this type of thing
would happen.

Please. Help. Me.

Im just about done with Xbox.

Hi, this is my first time on the xbox forum. I wanted to discuss the overall experience that comes with an Xbox One.

I find myself very disappointed with what direction everything is going in.

I hadn't logged onto my xbox for a long time out of boredom and the lack of fully developed games. Whether it was that the game wasn't fully developed or that it was developed in such a way to hinder its full potential (microtransactions).

While mentioning under developed games, lets bring up the elephant in the room, Player Unknowns Battlegrounds.

ln my opinion, not only the game itself, but the manner at which Microsoft went about acquiring it. Is representative of the many predatory practices that large companies will under go to make a quick buck.

Firstly, PUBG is labeled as a "console exclusive". How? Just because a pc cant be called a console? This is deceptive advertising. The desperation that Microsoft displays while they scramble to find themselves an "exclusive for xbox is sad. Its show in one
of their Xbox one X comercials featuring PUBG in the add with it, of course with the infamous quote "the most powerful console". But little does buyer know that the game will be underperforming. Once again, this is deceptive advertising.

Okay, my rant about PUBG is over.

Another thing I would like to address is the lack of quality titles being added to backwards compatibility.

I understand the developer of every game must agree to make their game work on an emulator. But it seems like the most popular games are just ignored.

Im disappointed month after month that I cant play any of my favorite old games (Saints row or UFC: Undisputed 3 for example)

Im concerned that Microsoft will care less and less for their customers, as shown over the passing months. We already have large game publishers trying to scam people out of their money. So lets not release 3 consoles in one cycle while theres no games to
play, or any reason to turn on the console at all for that matter.

I just wanted to discuss the problems that i come across with having an xbox one and why I feel like its stagnating for customers. Im honestly at a point where im done. I dont plan on buying another xbox. When I turn mine on I cant find enjoyment, just disappointment.

The sad thing is even if I wanted to buy a new game, I wont. Every new game is a cash grab or just isnt good and i wait for sales.

Instead of getting a new console you can pay a lot less and get it repaired.

It sounds like you’ve tried to main solutions. Maybe try holding the power button on the console for a full 10 seconds until it turns off. Then unplug it for a few minutes and then try turning it on again.

If that doesn’t work and a factory reset doesn’t work then I would send it in for a repair.

 

Actually there is a warning

When you use the region migration tool you get warned not all content will work if you migrate your region

The tool isnt meant to be used in that way

Fyi you will have issues speciifically with region locked content like halo gears or gta

 

Also it is not actually recommended you use the tool in that way

As region locked content wouldnt work

Your only solution is to wait the 3months

Also repurchase the gta in your actual region

 

But I didnt use the region migration tool, just moved my region on my console, not my account....

Or are those two one and the same?

 

Also, I cannot install ANY of the content that i used to have:

FIFA 15 and 16, AC4, BF4, etc etc...it just says installation has stopped.

It also cannot download updates for physical game copess like TitanFall, so I am completely lost.
