Got new update preview - Cant join party with people without it.

Does anybody have any idea when the official update will be released to the general public and we can actually USE parties again???

 

Received preview version of Blu-ray app, but I'm not in the preview program

Hey, Delta. The Blu-ray app update is not a preview version. It is an update that was released to the general public. To enable 3D Blu-ray playback, you need this app update combined with the system update that is currently in Preview.

 

Thought that was out last week i have had the real name thing on my profile last week

You may have had this if you were in the preview group.

The 'Final' 1406 release was available from Monday morning in Preview and to the public last evening, apparently. Major Nelson announced it a couple hours ago.

How can I tell if I am updated or not please?

 

If you have any updates available go to settings system, and if the manual update option is highighted at the bottom left you have an update waiting, otherwise your up to date.

 

Also, try checking out system / console information (which ever screen shows your OS Version and look for:

140601-2110

somewhere in the string

Is the One Guide working for UK?

 

It certainly is (for Sky at least!)

Having said that I am a tad uncertain as to what voice commands you can use and where you can use them!

 

I've got it working with virgin media TiVo box . Can change channel using voice commands but it won't pause/rewind etc. it recognises the command but can't pass it on to the TiVo for some reason.

 

Typical Youview nowhere to be seen on One guide

 

Useless with TalkTalk YouView.

Setup One Guide and can change channels but now have no way to access the menus on the YouView box to record, play recordings etc. Maybe in an update it will be integrated. I'd have thought Youview would have been in there seen as how more than 1 provider
