Xbox one games with gold

Nowhere yet until the June system update is available.

as i said in the external hdd thread, the sharing of games using external hdd sounds sweet, take it round my mates plug it in pop th disk in and sign in means i might finally get ryse done

Auto sign in will be nice to as much as i like kinect i am the sole user of my xbox and my daughter just uses my acc if need be so to auto sign in will save me dancing about infront of kinect lol

 

Guess us people in the preview program will be getting this one tonight hopefully.

 

Darn, just noticed somebody already beat me to the posting - that's what I get for spending quality family time with my mother this morning... *sigh*

 

Can anybody recommend a good external drive I should buy?

Expanding to 1000 friends? I am a recent convert from Sony, i talked a friend into converting too ... so far i have 2 friends, i follow some pro-gamers but they don't really play online much so not much point. Seriously, are people approaching 1000 friends
in their list, i would have prioritized this one pretty low on the list of updates for 2014.

External HDD support... again, the system is relatively new, limited amount of software available, in terms of priority this one would have been lower as well, but certainly higher than 1000 friends.

Real name ... hmm.. hard to get excited about this one. I know who my 2 friends are.

Netflix w/o live gold... sigh... this is like a fine print feature not a headliner, you have to get live gold to play online ... so ... sheesh talk about ho-hum for nearly everyone who owns the system and has a live sub (seriously is that everyone who owns
xbox one?), wanted to see some more innovation and flash in the update.

I want to see friend login/logoff notifications on this list, this one is a no-brainier, i am at a loss why this is not already up and running. The friends interface ... and the UI overall in terms of customization and ease of use still seems like it has
a very long way to go. I would have liked to see more focus put on these types of improvements.

Release of the SDK to the public is VERY high on my list and should be for MS as well. Windows is Windows because they captured the developer community early on.

 

Friend notifications were added a month ago. Don't know where you have been.

All you need to get not only the SDK but also two dev kits is ask MS and be approved by proving your skills as a developer. Wham. Done.

Just a heads-up, but make sure the games you want to move are not showing "Ready to Start". Seems there's an issue where games never get past the "Ready to Start" phase. While right now that's not really a problem, with the HDD update it becomes an issue
as a game in a "Ready to Start" state is seen by the console as not fully installed. Only installed titles can be moved from one storage device to another.

The current workaround is to delete and reinstall the game.

You can set it up for favorites or all friends, your choice. It's in your settings somewhere, I remember seeing it while I was exploring the update it came with.

obviously i'm not talking about the priority distribution of the sdk when i mention the public release, but thanks for the tip on adding favorites for notifications.
