    June 2020 build 19041.3068 fixes bricked Xbox from 19041.2583 insider build


    I've seen everyone online say that bricked Xbox Ones with insider builds cannot be fixed and must be replaced or sent into Microsoft for repair. In my case, my hard drive failed, so I got a new one, partitioned it, then tried to download Microsoft's latest OSU1 update so I could recover my system via an offline update. But because I was on an insider build, 19041.2583.amd64fre.vb_release_xbox_dev_2006.200609-0000, it kept failing.

    Using the 10.0.19041.3068 (rs_xbox_release_2006.200610-0000) June 2020 Update, I was able to unbrick my system. Heads up, the download speed on that site is awful. You'll have to be patient.

    And you can check your hdd

    or try use the usb hdd to save DVR.

    Here is the really big thing, calling Xbox Support or using Xbox Forums will not help with insider preview build issues. As stated if you don't like getting bugged builds to "test and evaluate" remove yourself from the Insider Program. Sometimes the builds
    are really bugged out and this current build is just that. You need to go to https://www.reddit.com/r/xboxinsiders
    as that is the only place you will get support for Insider builds.

    Thanks Gerry, seems it is likely the Windows Insider build. I dropped back as far as possibly from dev builds without having to reinstall andstill issues. Seems it's any insider build

    Surprised as the alpha and beta were absolutely rock solid in

    insider.
