June 2015 promotion

In June 2015 there was a promotion that if you got Xbox live you got a gift card for Microsoft points in return for getting live. 3 months was $5, 6 months was $10, and finally a year was $15. I bought a prepaid Xbox live card during for this promotion (used
during the promotion on June 17th), I do still have the confirmation email IF you need it. And before anyone says anything, i entered the code directly through the promotion and support members have directly told me in the recent past that this was fine to
use.The promotion said the gift cards would be given out within two weeks of signing up for live. After these two weeks I contacted Xbox live, I still have the reference number and a quote from the worker I spoke to.

"Aldo: at 20:50:39 As of the moment Alyssa, we can expect the reward to be send to you within 24 to 72 hrs. If ever the reward was not still send to you, please do contact us back and give this reference number,
[Mod Removed]"

After the 72 hour period I contacted support once again. I was told that more people signed up during the promotion than expected and I should receive it around August 14-24th. Obviously this has not happened, and before I am asked I have not once
received an email about this on the email my live account is connected to. Due to work and school starting I decided to wait a bit longer before I got angrier and contacted support again. BUT AGAIN I did. This time I called, tonight in fact. ONLY then did
they tell me I had to contact someone through the rewards forums. (reference number
[Mod Removed]). This was never mentioned to me until this point and I have waited 3 months. THREE months that I probably would have waited before buying live. The main reason I even bought live at that point was because I wanted the gift card
was to use it for games for gold deals.

I want, AT THE VERY LEAST, my gift card if not more. Waiting three months (and growing) for $15 is absolutely ridiculous. I have never had to wait this long with any other promotion in my life. NOR have I had this bad of an experience with support and rewards
ever.

I will provide any other information I can provide and I appreciate any help provided, just a customer very fed up with waiting and not receiving help.

I didnt recieve the promotion

I didn't get the promotion for $5 after availing one month Xbox Live Gold subscription on June 23, 2015. I have contacted Xbox Support and provided SR:
[Mod Removed]. Please help. Thank you.

F1 2015 is coming June 12th apparently...

Sorry to hear about any confusion that this may have caused and I can definitely understand how frustrating this could be. Just to clarify, did you redeem a pre-paid Xbox Live membership or did you purchase an Xbox Live membership through the dashboard promotion?
If you redeemed a pre-paid code, you will not qualify for this offer. In order for you to qualify for this offer, you would have needed to purchase an Xbox Live membership directly through the dashboard promotion. Once again, I am sorry to hear about the
confusion and any inconveniences that this may have caused.

 

I purchased the promotion directly through the promotion link on the dashboard.
