This Month's Games With Gold Include The Banner Saga 2 & Tumblestone

Not a bad selection methinks.Played the first Banner Saga & quite enjoyed it although I need to go back & finish it.No idea about Tumblestone but I think it's a retro style platformer.

RSV2 is great & Tron was a quite enjoyable game.

Xbox Live Sales vs. Playstation.

There's been some great sales recently although this weeks deals with gold aren't the best.

Games with Gold has been pretty good in the past few months as well & July's isn't to ban.

All depends on what games you like really.

We've officially hit the doldrums of summer gaming with this offering.

I don't expect August to be much better.

 

Banner Saga 2 looks pretty awesome in my opinion. I've never heard of the other game. Is it some sort of retro 8-bit game?

Not really my thing but it's free so i'll give it a go.

 

Really enjoyed some games I've gotten with gwg that I never paid any attention to before, looking forward to trying the banner saga 2 & tron out of those. I doubt I will like tumblestone but you never know so I will try it, rainbow six Vegas 2 is great but
I wont play it, put many hours into in the past

 

Looks like I was totally wrong about Tumblestone.

Seems to be a puzzle type game.

I'll give them all a go because they're free, but probably the first month where there hasn't been at least 1 game that interests me.

Had to laugh at how wrong the rumours were about July's games, from the news sites I was reading they couldn't have got it more wrong. Final Fantasy XIII, Halo Wars, Dead Rising 3 were all predicted at some point. Do these news sites just look at upcoming
games (i.e. FF XV, HW2, DR4) and base their GWG predictions on this?

I've only tried 2 of the many free Games With Gold Offerings (Wolf Among Us and The Crew: Wildrun).

Wolf Among Us was an amazing game

The Crew: Wildrun was boring

Maybe another free game will join Wolf Among Us in my list of Games With Gold that are actually worth playing.

I'm really more excited for Tumblestone. The Banner game isn't really my style of game. I love that there's always Indie games with the GWG.

I prefer indie games.

 

This month is pretty meh. PS+ won't bring joy, either. Oh well, got a nice backlog of games to go through and I have irl stuff to do as well

 

I'm hoping July's GARBAGE WITH GOLD offering is simply so people will actually go outside. It's
SUMMER after all.

 

I'm actually pretty keen to try Tron, always wanted to play it, but didn't want to throw the money at it so winnar!
