July updates on its way to preview

It's rare that I have party issues - what issues are you having with them Enen?

 

By the look of the games played on the 360. I would venture to say, he is having issues with Call of Duty. I still believe this is a disconnect between sending invites for that game. Either from the in-game friends list(hit
or miss, most of the time) and sending them from the Home screen(never seems to work). I believe this is more of an Infinity Ward issue than a MS issue.

 

Snapping Achievements will be used a lot by me for sure.

I already double tap guide to switch between snaps, but the other way is new.

As for fixing parties, I never really have a problem getting one started, but when it comes to getting said party into a lobby of any specific game can be annoying. This was also present on the 360.

What every developer needs to have in each game lobby is a single button press to invite the whole party to the game. Some games on 360 do it great, especially the lobbies with "ready" options. This wasn't on MS, it was how the developers created their game
to interact with party groups.

From the looks of it, MS wants everything to be seamless and just put people together, at least for specific online games.

Some things I found very interesting:

"Choice of Spoken Language. Folks in New Zealand, Ireland and Austria, with this update in July, will be able to select voice control using the English or German voice models from other countries. And if you're an expat in an English-speaking country, you,
too, can choose any of the other English language models that fit you."

Does this mean they're bringing Voice Commands to NZ?? Or will we still have to change our locale to Australia (2hours behind NZ time) to try/experience voice commands??

Still waiting for the ability to change the UI background (you can do this for WINDOWS 8.1 and XBOX 360, and for Voice Messaging (at least between other Xbox 1 consoles).
