Hey, guys! If you are still experiencing the static/snowy screen or the HDCP error, I've got word that they should be resolved. If you haven't received the most recent update yet, please attempt to force the October update by going to Settings >
System > Update Console if you have the option. If you are on the current

What OS are you running (as found in the link above)?

What TV brand and model do you have?

What is the manufacturer and model number of your set top box?

This will help the investigating teams narrow down what the possible issue is.

I live in the UAE and it is under the xbox live support community ; and the august update did not fix the lost signal issue. Can u advise on the actions that needs to be taken for this issue.

Please fin below the original issue that I am facing that I posted a month back; it's really frustrating not getting any feedback from the support team specially I am in the Middle East and the only "social" feature that was working is the TV. I am really

I am facing "lost TV signal" message after July update. The signal comes back after around 2 min. This issue is really frustrating as it was working perfectly fine before the update and never faced any issues not even once. I tried selecting tv connection
as "hdmi" and the resolution of the TV and cable box are the same at 720p but still nothing changed.

I have a humax receiver and use it as a satellite only as one guide in not available in my county.

I have the hardware isn't licensed issue, grainy, stuttering screen. Also loss of tv signal. I never noticed it until the July update. I think it is the directv equivalent of the HDCP issues other gamers are experiencing.

I've been facing problems with the TV "black screen of death" for months. That seems to be behaving a bit better (not having to cold-reboot 3x/day - maybe a few times/week). But I too am now seeing this "lost TV signal" issue. Tried replacing all my cables
thinking that there was a connection problem but, apparently, it's yet another software glitch. As a fundamental capability - watching TV - I really wish Microsoft would go above and beyond in its testing of this application.

My provider is Comcast and my setup box is a Motorola RNG200N.
