July games with gold announced

Julys games are Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship edition for the XB1 and Gotham City Imposters and BattleBlock Theater for the 360. Max: the Curse of Brotherhood will remain in the programme in July.

What free game will be out on 16/08/13?

They announced every game that was going to be free for August for Games with Gold at the end of July

 

Games with Gold for July 1: Defense Grid: The Awakening

In case you don't frequent Major Nelson's blog, he announced yesterday that Defense Grid: The Awakening was the first July title for the Games with Gold program. The game is usually 800 Microsoft points.

 

Shame the Guacamelee thing isn't for the 360.

 

So they announce games for gold for xbox one, 2 free games a month (as long as u have a gold sub), then within 1 month its down to 1 free game??

Great show Microsoft.

Imagine how many people went gold just because of this promotion to get 2 free games every month.

Genius.

 

Small print on the games with gold states 1 game for xbox one mate

 

I'm disappointed

I sure hope August will be much better.

I was so looking forward to next gen Xbox but Tbh every move U make ,makes me feel like moving to PS4 and I've not owned a Sony console for 10 years.....

DreamTrippah 360 games are free as you get to keep them even when you got silver. Only xbox one games revert to trials

 

I love the way idiots rage, threaten to go to Sony as if that's a real heavy threat, then carry on regardless.

They arnt giving the same game they are giving gucamelee. They are extending the amount of time Max is avalable. If you look at the terms for games with gold it states 2 games for xbox 360 and one game for xbox one each month

 

Viral, you ARE right, but surely you can see that they've been very sly, 99% aint going to read the small print, and they know it.

They gave 2 games at the start, like 360, so obviously people are going to expect it.

MS have the subscriptions now.

Also, for 'new' customers, it 'looks' like 2 free games still, so they'll subscribe and be dissapointed next month.

Yes you're right about the 'small print', but MS have been crafty.

They gave two free games to celebrate the launch of XB1 GWG. They also gave 3 games on 360 to celebrate its 1st anniversary.

Would new customers now expect 3 games per month aswell I doubt it because it is well posted That its only 2 games just like its well posted xb1 is only 1 game
