July 2014 update broke Live TV for Cisco 8742HDC

I have confirmed that the September 2014 Update, does NOT fix this problem for me. I wish I knew if any real development progress was being made on solving it. It's still as frustrating as ever!

Hey guys, I have Verizon FIOS with Cisco 335HDC P2 and I'm having the same exact issue. Did a some hard resets and all that and apparently solves the problem for a while but not permanently. Would be very good to have this solved as the Xbox is hooked to
my only TV and I don't want to disconnect it.

Well.. This issue might be resolved for me.

I'm not sure if it was:

- the October 2014 XBox One Update (which we recently received), or

- the Cisco 8742HDC DVR software update (which we also recently received, verified by larger on-screen fonts, and new progress bars for our DVR items)

... but I haven't noticed the glitching video problem in the past couple days!

Fingers crossed that it's fully resolved!

Oh man! I missed your thread and I apologize deeply for this, Jacob! I updated a couple other threads with this information. The October update did address this, as well as the static/snowy screen issues. If you do run into this problem again, please post
back with your OS of your console so that we can look into it again.

 

Can't wait to get home and ensure this works!! No work-around has been useful at all to me. Was actually on the "live chat" feature with my cable provider asking for other DVR options when I decided to pull up this thread to share with them (in case they
cared).

Will see as soon as I get home if the October Update works.

I am having problems with my TV freezing as of the 21 Oct up date it was fine before that I have dun a cold restart changed settings on my cable box and even reinstalled the cable box from the start
