Taking bets on how long this will be pushed to page 2 or 3 & ignored due to people posting support questions in the wrong place due to the crap layout of these pretty much ignored forums.

Anyway,FH4 set in Japan would be cool & is quite a good idea,might increase the sales of the xbox in Japan slightly.

I'm all over a new Fable game as long as it's done right,ie not another Fable 3.

Just want something new & a bit different.My main issue with a lot of games last year like GR Wildlands & AC Origins was that while they looked lovely they got really repetitive & boring after a few hours.I spent more time playing the little indie games
than I did the big triple a titles.

 

I actually loved the new Assassins Creed game but I know what you mean about it getting repetitive. I went for the full 1000/1000 and one of the achievements was for completing every area. Talk about time consuming repetition.

Indie games are getting much better now a days. I mean like proper games not those 8-bit yokes.

I kind of like walking simulators and The Vanishing of Ethan Carter just came out. I might get that.

They really need to make a big splash on the game front this year at E3 if they really want to push the X.

 

It’s not exclusive but there is a Dark Souls remaster coming.

 

Dark Souls is a must buy for me.

I really want to like AC: Origins & I do up to a certain point but I just find it repetitive after a while.

Not for everyone but i'm looking forward to Railway Empire next week,made by the same people who make the Tropico games & I love those.

Will give Monster Hunter a go as well at some point but waiting for a few weeks until some people have played it.I'm a bit hesitant about buying games at release nowadays.

Have to say I kind off like some of the "walking sims" as well.Just picked up Firewatch in the weekly sale & it was really good.

 

Badger, if you like walking sims you should try What Remains of Edith Finch.

Monster Hunter looks good so I’ll definitely be getting that. Same with Darksiders 3

 

Edith Finch is high up on my list.Heard nothing but good things about it.

Darksiders 3 is one of those rare day one buys for me.So glad they are bringing the Darksiders games back.

 

I think at this years E3, we will see Forza Horizon 4 and possibly a few other games, but Fable 4 certainly wont.

For one, the development team have already said that they are only now hiring roughly 200 people to develop it.

I would say at least one to two years before we see anything about Fable 4.

 

I haven't posted on these forums for MONTHS and with good reason... all of my gaming goodness has been supplied thanks to Sony. Notwithstanding I have lurked in the background and noticed the usual suspects have tried to "sell" Xbox in the face of overwhelming
odds. Namely, there is absolutely NOTHING on the horizon that might suggest Microsoft is turning around the console's fortunes! In fact, as a certified Xbot who has stood behind the OFFICIAL XBOX MAGAZINE since its inception, it's quite alarming that the current
issue - scheduled for February 15th in Australia - has thus far NOT ARRIVED! What in the actual...?

By contrast, the Official PS4 magazine is bringing it big time - on time and on demand. You've only gotta look at how Shadow of the Colossus has leapfrogged just about everything else (Monster Hunter World besides) to bring critical mass to the platform
in February. So, while the last few hardy souls on these forums try to "sell" an illusion, I'm actually blown away by the depth of Sony's first-party exclusives that continue to illuminate - above and beyond shovelware or not-really-there-ware (hello, Sea
of Thieves) - which include Gravity Rush Remastered and Gravity Rush 2. The only comparable experience on Xbox One has been Sunset Overdrive.... SO VERY LONG AGO!!!!! So, why deviate? Why put all of my eggs into Microsoft's basket on the basis of... SHOVELWARE?
Forza 4?! Not even on the "official" radar lol.

 

Sorry, timed out. Tried to amend the post but only five minutes were remain! Forza 4? Nope, I meant Forza Horizon 4, obvs. Plus, I meant VAPORWARE, not shovelware... for those paying attenshun. Forums are DOA anyhoo, so nothing ventured, nothing gained (returns
to La La Land).

 

So does anyone remember the awesome game Vanquish? Rumor has it that the sequel is an Xbox exclusive. That would be great if true.

 

I did not buy Xbox to worry about "exclusives". I brought Xbox cuz it's fun. Sony bullies have been hounding that Xbox has weaker specs. Well, Xbox One X is currently the most powerful console, as global giant corporate Microsoft puts. And since Xbox 360
is the only 7th gen console that has party chat (this thing which lets you chat with friends/randoms in a party who can play different games and still be in a party chat channel).

Otherwise if we're talking console exclusives which are not on the competition console....

- Forza

- Halo

- Screamride

- Zoo Tycoon

And if the competition claim they have more games, well, PC has more games and more users than PS4.

Just sick of PS4 fans thinking that they can walk all over other people, including Xbox users.

As for the games discussed in this thread, I still prefer FH3 as it's much closer to home. We drive on the left over here, and it doesn't look like a foreign world where they use different metrics thingy (eg. miles vs. kilometres, yards vs meters, 'F vs
'C, etc).

 

Right now, I'm a PS4 fan but also an Xbox user (well, Xbox Gold subscriber who has jumped ship in the meantime). By that yardstick, would I be walking on MYSELF for simply stating a point of fact? That the Xbox 'brand' needs a lot of work? Plus, if you're
looking purely at demographics, well a'course there are more PC users on a global scale, but I'm happily not one of them. Which means I place a higher value on the CONSOLE exclusives that are out there right now... and rn, it's PS4 over just about everything
else!

I posted above that the the current issue of OXM was overdue... turns out it shipped TWO WEEKS late with nary an apology. In Australia, both official magazines are published by Future, and lately there'd been only *one* week separating
the two from street dates. Thanks to this unspecified delay for OXM, the next issue will hit stands on April 9th! By contrast, the latest OPS will arrive THIS WEEK - March 8th - and considering I'm still partway through last month's edition (which hit the
stands one week before OXM was due), this essentially leaves me with twice as much reading material (including previews and a bunch of hot exclusives -including Detroit: Become Human) while the OXM team cough and wheeze to get their **** together!

In case you can't read between the lines, smileskybird, CONTENT IS KING. If you don't have enough content to fill your pages, then you miss the street date. You struggle to keep readers, gamers and Xbots entertained. #truestory
