JSRF / Sega GT 2002 Bundle Not Working

I just bought the Jet Set Radio Future/Sega GT 2002 bundle for my Xbox 360 and no matter what I've tried, my Xbox won't read the disk. I have a Microsoft-made 60GB HDD, a regular Xbox 360 (the Arcade version), and an NTSC game. I updated my Xbox to the most
recent update as well. It still doesn't work though. I keep getting an error that says "This original Xbox game is not supported on your Xbox 360 console. An update to support this game may be available. For more info, go to www.xbox.com/games."

My HDD and the disk are both legit. I made sure to check.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Can't play compatible Original Xbox game

After I responded I did a little reading up on the JSRF/SEGA GT 2002 combo disk and apparently it WILL work. For some reason it was not listen on the official list for backwards compatible games.

What Region are you playing in? PAL?

Is there any way you can connect the console to the internet to attempt to download any necessary updates ?

The reason I asked what medium to connect to output device you were using was because JSRF/SEGA GT 2002 will not work with a VGA cable used to connect the Xbox to the TV.

Did anyone else get the Jet Set Radio/Sega GT 2002 Bundle? Mine is still working 14 years later. So many good times and so much 3rd party support including Japan.

 

That bundle isn't backwards compatible so won't play.

Both games are on the bc list but you need the individual versions of those games.

 

It's on the backwards compatible list on Wikipedia though:

I'll still try getting JSRF as a single disk, and see if that works.

Both games are bc but not the bundle versions.

 

I'm late, but I'll throw this out there - the bundle disc in question works just fine on my 360, which is also an older Arcade model.

 

I can confirm, too, that the bundle disc is *supposed* to work. My brother played it on his 360 quite a bit years ago.

That was an original model back in, like, 2008-2010, though. I don't know if this game has been removed or anything.
