Joystick acceleration?

    the speed is determined by, your sensitivity level, and the distance of the stick from the edge of the area. So if you don't want any acceleration, you would have to always move the stick to the edge of the area, which would be tiresome IMO, but changing
    the sensitivity would then only change what happened when your stick reached the edge (and make a very very slight difference in the moment it took to get there).

    One of the major plus's of a controller is the movement starting slow and getting faster.

    i have the same problem, i used to be awsome on cod when playing on 360. But 360 is now so old that it lags, so i play Xbox1 now. There i have not found any way to remove the acceleration. And it totally **** my aim from being a good player to a medium one,
    it totally destroys the fun for me, there are few things that annoys me more. Cant reajust aim, cant Counter recoil properly, cant really predict anything really. Its stupid that it cant be turned Off, i have played Xbox1 a long while. Acceleration is still
    crap. Try putting a hydraulick sylinder on soldiers arm that just force his arm faster and faster while he is trying to move it and see if he hits enemies or ends up shoting himself. Stupid really.

    Hi

    Ideally you should have created a new thread for this. However the Elite Controller has a feature that allows you to customise the left and right stick sensitivity that may be what you are looking for.

    It's a feature of consoles that's a part of auto-aim. It's hard to aim like on PC, so every console game has built-in limiters that make it easier for people to aim - what you're describing is one of those limiters. Believe me, you may want to turn it off,
    but you'll find it next to impossible to aim or point at anything on a console if you did.

    If it does I don't notice it, M&C is different to using a controller, if you want to play on a console you have to get use to the differences.

    what games do you think it still accelerates after you move the game to the edge, in all the FPS's I play is certainly doesn't.

    There no way to turn it off, just move the sticks straight to edge.
