Joy Ride Turbo XBOX ONE multiplayer issue: second player cannot sign in as a guest

I bought Joy Ride Turbo on my XBox one. Local multiplayer doesn't work, when I tried to sign in as a second player as guest, I've got an error message, it gives an error saying that guest cannot connect to Xbox Live.

I had a similay problem with the Xbox360 games on Xbox one. They didn't allowed me even to sign in. I found the solution, it was because my Microsoft account has two-step verification, and Xbox360 cannot handle it. It is possible to create an application
password for this, and it solved the main problem. Now I'm able to play with old Xbox360 games. Even two players (second player as a guest) (ex. Joe Danger, Lego Indiana Jones...)

But Joy Ride Turbo has still that problem. I can sign in (automatcally signs me in), but if I try to connect as second player as guest, it denied...

Does anyone has any useful ideas? Thanks!

Hi Diego,

Thank you for your suggestions. The guest account didn't solve the problem in the Joy Ride Turbo game. But it works with the new Microsoft account. It was not too easy at first sight but at second try it could download the profile and it works. Thanks again!

Hi there!

When trying to play local multiplayer for Joy Ride Turbo, do you have to sign in the guest from within the game in the Xbox 360 emulator? Or did you create a guest account on the Xbox One and the created guest account is not signing in?

I suggest trying to create a guest account through the Xbox One system and see if it let's you use that guest account:

If this second player plays with you a lot or if the guest account still does not work, then I recommend just creating another Microsoft Account and then add it to the Xbox to create an Xbox profile for it. It doesn't cost anything at all to create a Microsoft
Account and there are many benefits to having one for the second player so they can easily sign in along with your own account.

That was my first reaction, too.

Joy Ride Turbo for free would have been a great consolation for the intial Joy-Ride-is-free-oh-wait-haha-its a crap kinect game-ten dollars-please debacle.
