the 360 only allowed passwords of 16 characters or shorter most of the time, having less that 16 characters is not less secure, the type of password is. set password length to 15 or less and your good to go. don't think anyone is going to spend a month or more brute forcing a 15 character password unless you are someone extremely special.

As for password security, you may be adding an authenticator to your account if you don't already have one.

I had this same problem recently, the only solution that worked for me was to change my account password, in this case, I reduced the number of characters for it, and then I was able to type it completely. The number of characters has to be less than the Xbox system limit for you to be able to type it completely.

This allowed me to download my profile.

Thanks for the detailed explanation. I will report the issue (apparently I am not the only one facing the same issue) as well as secure the account by 2FA (this makes sense). And you never know if there isn't somebody trying to break your account, because he simply can, so having stronger password is always a better choice (not mentioning that you have to actually remember the new password when you change it...).

Hi, thanks for the reply, I was also thinking about this. But on the other hand it is not good to lower the security level (have a weaker password) in order to be able to play a game. Is there a way to contact the Microsoft gaming team to provide a fix instead? The game is still being sold on Microsoft Store.
